Pan or Zoom a View

You can pan to reposition the view in the drawing area or zoom to change magnification in Easy CAD Viewer. You can easily restore previous views after panning or zooming.

Click the Pan button on the toolbar, and the mouse cursor changes to a hand. Position the hand on your CAD drawing, and then hold down the left mouse button and drag the drawing to the area of your interest. Like panning with a camera, Pan does not change the location or magnification of objects on your drawing; it changes only the view.

Similar to zooming in and out with a camera, you can change the magnification of a view by zooming in and out. Zooming in enlarges the drawing that you are working on for viewing purposes and get a close-up view of a part of the drawing; Zooming out shrinks the drawing that you are working on and see the complete drawing in a small enough size for viewing purposes. Zooming does not change the absolute size of objects in the drawing; it changes only the magnification of the view.
