Set the Plot Scale for a Layout

You can either specify a precise scale for the layout or fit the image to the paper when you plot a drawing layout. Usually the default scale is 100% or 1:1. To specify a different scale for the layout, set the plot scale for the layout in the Print Setup dialog box. In this dialog box, you can simply uncheck Scale to Fit and select a scale from the drop list or define a custom scale of your preferences.

You can also enable the Scale To Fit option to plot the layout at the largest possible size that fits the paper.
