File summary provides additional capabilities to CAD drawings. When the AutoCAD-based applications create the drawings in DWG, DXF, or DWF format, several properties, such as title, subject, author, comments, keywords, revision number, are embedded as metadata into the drawing files.

 

View Properties in File Summary

File Summary (File Properties) window pops up when you click from the software menu View->File Summary...

You can view all the available properties in their own fields.

Alternatively, you can click the Summary tab on the bottom-right corner of the viewer.

Change Properties

To change the properties, you can double click on the value of the field of your interest, and then input the new value, immediately followed by clicking Set button to apply this change.
