Select a Printer or Plotter for a Layout

You are required to select a printing or plotting device in the Page Setup dialog box in order for the layout to be printed or plotted. This device can be a laserjet printer, inkjet printer, plotter, HP Indigo, Adobe PDF Converter.

Once you've selected a device, you can view details about the name, status, type, and port of the device, and you can change the device's configuration by clicking Properties... button. The available paper sizes and paper source will be automatically updated to reflect the device capabilities of the chosen device.
