You can select a paper size from a standard list and choose the paper source such as from Tray1 or Tray2. The paper sizes available in the list are decided by the plot device that is currently selected for the layout.

When you choose Adobe PDF Converter or Adobe PDF as the plotting device, make sure that you have clicked Properties... button to set the proper settings such as PDF quality, font embedding, image resolution etc.
